Rodney J. Landreneau is a board-certified general and thoracic surgeon extensively experienced in the management of mesothelioma.
- Among the nation’s few pleural mesothelioma surgeons who performs surgical debulking/hyperthermic chemoperfusion.
- Previously served as division director of General Thoracic Surgery for Allegheny Health Network, as its system director of Thoracic Oncology and as co-director of the AHN Esophageal and Lung Institute.
- Formerly served as medical director, vice chairman in charge of clinical program development for the Department of Surgery, and chief of General Thoracic Surgery at Ochsner Cancer Institute in Louisiana.
- Proponent of minimally invasive surgery, video-assisted thoracic surgery, advanced Nd:YAG laser, photodynamic therapy, fluoroscopic radiation management, and CyberKnife when appropriate.
