Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center that strives to meld scientific discovery, expert and compassionate patient care, quality education, and partnership with the community. This site offers some of the most advanced clinical techniques and equipment available, including the CyberKnife robotic radiation therapy system. The center maintains a very large clinical trials program. A research focus is early detection.
