The American Nurses Credentialing Center has designated Rush University Cancer Center as a magnet center for cancer nursing. Most of the cancer center’s services are offered on an outpatient basis, with hospitalization as necessary at Rush University Medical Center. The center consists of state-of-the-art patient exam and procedure rooms, among them a chemotherapy area with 56 infusion stations, including 20 private ones.
